Life happens, and sometimes your perfectly planned schedule might face unexpected disruptions. Whether it’s a last-minute commitment, illness, or a hectic week, missing a workout or skipping your progress check-ins can feel discouraging. But don’t worry—#BodyByCoachJeff has you covered with an updated process to help you catch up and get back on track seamlessly.

When Life Happens

Disruptions to your schedule are completely normal, and missing a workout or progress photo doesn’t mean all is lost. Consistency over time is what matters most in your fitness journey.

Now you don’t have to let your coach know about moving your workouts tomorrow or on another date! Here’s how to make up for missed tasks while staying aligned with your goals:

1. Check Missed Workouts

Log into the #BodyByCoachJeff mobile app and review your calendar. Identify the missed workouts and prioritize the most important ones based on your coach’s recommendations. You may also message Coach Jeff directly if you need assistance on this.

2. Log Missed Progress Photos and Stats

Navigate to the “Check-In” section and upload any missed progress photos or stats directly on the Program View. If you’re unsure how to backdate them, follow the step-by-step guide provided below.

3. Adjust Your Weekly Plan

If you’ve missed multiple days, focus on completing key workouts rather than cramming everything into one day. Quality matters more than quantity.


Step-by-Step Instructions

Open your Coaching App and head to Menu > Calendar.

On Calendar View, you can see the current schedule task as plotted by your coach and for the next few days. You can navigate to the entire calendar by opening the calendar button (the small line below the calendar days:

On this same calendar view, you will see:

  • Scheduled check-in task (in purple)
  • Finished workout (in orange)
  • Scheduled workout (in green)

Your completed activities would have a check mark beside it, and the missed ones doesn’t have a check mark:

To catch up on that particular missed check-in or workout, simply open that activity and Start Workout (for workouts), or upload your progress photo / weight / body fat measurements from there. After this, you will have a CHECK mark on that activity and you’re good to go!

Note: Checking-in, doing your workouts on other areas other than the calendar view will not check that task. Also you may need to catch-up only on the week’s missed tasks, as the previous week may have been evaluated already by Coach Jeff.
